NATIONALITY FOR SSC CGL 2020

SSC CGL 2020 has the nationality criteria, which requires the aspirant to be a resident of the given states. Candidates who are residents of the following states are eligible to apply for the SSC CGL. A candidate must fulfill any one of the following conditions:

  • The applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • The applicant must be a subject of Nepal/ Bhutan.
  • The applicant must be a Tibetan refugee who moved to India before 1962 intentionally with the motive to settle down in India permanently.
  • The applicant must be of Indian Origin who has shifted to India from Burma, Ethiopia, Pakistan, Uganda, Kenya, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire, and Vietnam intending to subside down forever in India.
  1. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS FOR SSC CGL 2020

This is one of the significant criteria that the aspirant who wishes to appear for the exam of SSC CGL 2020 must fulfill. In order to appear for this examination, the candidate must be a graduate from any discipline by any recognized Institution or university. Although having a bachelor’s degree is the prime educational, there are some additional requirements. The candidate must have been graduated with any of these subjects as their electives or compulsory: Mathematics/Statistics/Economics.

The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in any stream from a renowned university with a minimum of 60% in mathematics at 12th or equivalent or any graduate from a famous university with statistics as one of the subjects during degree level.

  • Assistant Audit Officer

Basic Qualification- Must be holding a bachelor’s degree from a renowned university or institute.

Additional Qualification- Chartered Accountant/Cost and Management Accountant/Masters in Commerce/Business Administration (Finance)/ Company Secretary/Business Studies/Business Economics

  • Compiler

Basic Qualification- Must be holding a bachelor’s degree from a renowned university or institute.

Additional Qualification- The candidate must have studied Economics, mathematics, or statistics as their elective or compulsory subject.

  • Assistant Section Officer (CSS)

Basic Qualification- Must be holding a bachelor’s degree from a renowned university or institute.

Additional Qualification- The aspirants are required to pass the computer proficiency test.

EX-SERVICEMEN ADVANTAGES FOR RESERVATION UNDER ESM CATEGORY FOR SSC CGL 2020

  1. According to the guidelines of the Central Government, group “C” and “D,” if any ex-servicemen have already enjoyed the reservation benefits for re-employment regarding civilian jobs, they will not be eligible for ESM category reservation.

In order to be eligible for this particular reservation, the candidate is supposed to submit the self-declaration of the employer and also provide the required details of prior job application in civil employment.

  1. If the aspirant intends to enjoy the perks of ex-servicemen, then the aspirant must acquire the ex-servicemen status or must do it within a year of the last application receipt. The documents need to be supported by the fact by any competent authority.
